The 2021-2022 CALL Placement & Recruitment Committee (“committee”) was comprised of Co-Chairs Todd Ito and Julie Pabarja, Valerie Kropf, Sean Rebstock, and Diana Koppang. Carrie Port was the Board Liaison.
The committee started the year by discussing the committee charge and the initiatives in the CALL Strategic Plan assigned to this committee to handle. The committee started the year by reviewing and suggesting edits to the committee charge, the job posting form and the job placement terms & conditions found on the CALL website. The committee was Chaired by Diana Koppang. The committee members were Julie Pabarja, Debbie Rusin, and Debra Denslaw and Sandy Qiu.
The Placement & Recruitment committee met twice during the 2019/2020 year. The committee pursued a number of initiatives to recruit new members to CALL and develop the Association’s outreach to students and new members. The Committee held one in-person meeting and one teleconference meeting during 2016-2017.
This year, the Committee continued work on initiatives started during the previous year. One of the primary responsibilities of the Committee is the posting of new law library positions on both the CALL website and on various local library and law school job boards. To improve the postings, we worked with other committees to update the job posting submission form on the CALL website to include additional school job boards in the posting options.
