The Continuing Education Committee has a full slate of programs planned for the 2025-26 year. While the Technology Roundtable has already happened, there are many more planned!

Program 2: Research Roundtable

Date & Time: TBD (January)

This roundtable will spotlight three key areas of legal research. We’re seeking three researchers to share insights in 20-minute segments. CALL is currently seeking speakers for this session.

Proposed Topics:

  • Expert Witness Research
  • Private Equity & Corporate Intelligence
  • People-Finding Techniques

Program 3: Mentorship Partnership Roundtable

Date & Time: TBD (March)

In collaboration with the CALL Mentorship Committee, this roundtable will focus on supporting newer members. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how librarians can grow through service and involvement in the profession. CALL will partner with the Mentorship Committee to develop this program.

Program 4: Law Student Readiness Panel

Date & Time: TBD (May)

This panel will explore what law students should know before entering firm environments. Academic librarians are encouraged to bring questions from students to ask firm librarians.

Topics May Include:

  • Billing Practices
  • Tool Access Differences
  • Expectations for New Attorneys

Action: CALL will select firm librarians for the panel and invite academic librarians to contribute questions.
